The Veurs 25 holiday home (www.Geulvallei.nl) for up to 20 people is a beautiful detached farmhouse surrounded by fruit groves, hiking trails through the woods, a private children's farm on the edge of the Veurs hamlet in the Belgian Voer region, about 15 minutes from Maastricht , Liège or Aachen.

The house dates from early 1700 and is a home full of surprises. It is an old timber farm built of oak beams and fracture stone. The property has always been the destination of a farm, namely a house with barn and stable.
In 2000 it was completely converted into an attractive holiday home. The truss walls are laid in the original manner. A really old piece of timber.
Veurs 25 has 9 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, sauna and is fully equipped.

"Erg prettig verblijf"

Wij zijn afgelopen voorjaarsvakantie 2024 in dit huis enkele dagen verbleven met 2 gezinnen. Heel fijne rustige plek om te zijn in een prachtige omgeving.
Huisje was helemaal in orde, zoals op de foto's. Ontzettend fijn! Hopelijk tot weerziens.

Wij zijn de eigenaren Bernadette en Eric Kroonen,
De vakantiewoning Geulvallei is gelegen nabij het authentieke dorpje Sippenaken. De woning ligt in het Geulvallei met de kibbelende beek De Geul in de achtertuin. Er lopen verschillende wandelroutes met afstanden van 5 tot 25 km nabij de woning.
De 18-holes golfbaan Mechelerhof ligt op 1 km afstand.
Het welbekende 3-landenpunt met zijn labyrint, uitkijktoren, speeltuin en restaurants liggen op 4 km afstand.
Op 200 meter ligt een cafe-restaurantje met authentieke gerechten en bieren en waar men nu ook kan genieten van lekkere vlaai of warme soep. Uiteraard zijn de courante warme of koude dranken ook beschikbaar.
Op zondagochtend (10 minuten rijden) kan men de gezellige markt bezoeken in Aubel of lekker de natuur in voor een boswandeling.
In huis is een sauna en een heerlijke tuin met ligstoelen en groot terras met lange tafel.
Overweeg het bezoeken van de steenkoolmijn van Blegny of het Amerikaanse kerkhof van Henri-Chapelle.
Kortom, er is een heleboel te doen, zien en beleven, maar vergeet ook niet te onthaasten in en rondom de woning.
