An attractive 4-person + 1 child < 3 yr. (pet-free) vacation home on the Wadden Island of Ameland. The Dijkwachter has a quiet and special location near the Wadden Sea in the Ballumerbocht near the picturesque village of Ballum. From the bathroom you have a view of the Wadden Sea! The vacation home has a lovely spacious living room with a modern wood-burning stove. From the living room you have patio doors which provide access to the terrace, lawn and playground. There are also several family games and toys available. This cozy home is spacious and comfortable. There is also plenty of room outside to play and enjoy.
Upon arrival, the beds are made for you, there is a large bath towel package waiting for you. In the barn you will find 4 bikes (including several child seats) + 2 walking bikes and a wagon which you can freely use.Zwemabonnement for 4 people at Klein Vaarwater. You have lots of privacy and are close to the Wadden Sea! Also in the winter months it is lovely to stay at the fireplace!

Wat een fantastisch fijn verblijf hebben we gehad bij de Dijkwachter. Zo compleet is het huis ingericht dat het ontspannen gelijk kan beginnen. De houtkachel werkt als een speer en er is goed en droog hout te hoop bij de Dijkwachter. De wasmachine en droger zijn ideaal om met schoon ingepakte tassen weer huiswaarts te keren. De keuken is fijn ingericht incl bakvorm en (staaf)mixer. Aan alles is gedacht. Spelletjes, tijdschriften en boeken. Ook informatie over het eiland is er volop in alle vormen. De bedden liggen heerlijk... het was te kort voor ons. Daarom wilden we van de zomer terugkomen echter is het al volgeboekt ;) De Dijkwachter is een plek waar we terug gaan komen, want ik zou graag eens op de vlonder in de zon willen genieten van een boek en spelende kids om mee heen.

We vinden het verblijf in de Dijkwachter erg fijn. Er staan veel mooie huizen in het duingebied maar de Dijkwachter heeft iets speciaals en is daarom favoriet : het ligt heerlijk rustig, vlakbij het wad , met een grote tuin en uitzicht op de weilanden. Het huis is superschoon, volledig en gezellig ingericht en heerlijk warm in de winter. De eigenaresse is erg vriendelijk en zorgt voor een gevoel van thuiskomen. De bedden zijn opgemaakt .. We verheugen ons nu alweer op de volgende keer !!!!

zelden een vakantiehuisje gehad wat zo compleet was, zelf aan het kleinste detail was gedacht, wat heerlijk die handdoeken die er al lagen en het comfortabele bed dat al was opgemaakt , werkelijk toppie! zelf in de winter is het er heerlijk toeven, met de gezellige houtkachel zeer vriendelijke mensen , die graag willen dat jouw verblijf op het eiland onvergetelijk word een dikke aanrader, het was voor ons de eerste keer , maar zeker niet de laatste keer, ga vooral zo door! groetjes van zeer tevreden gasten

Wijds is het uitzicht, warm is de sfeer. Wat een heerlijk, volledig uitgerust huis is dit. Eenmaal hier wil je niet meer weg. Het lijkt wel of er aan alles is gedacht en nog meer dan dat. Het huis is fris en super schoon. Dicht gelegen bij de Waddenzee, maar op de fiets ben je ook zo in Ballum. Wij komen zeker een keer terug.
Heel fijn vakantiehuis op een prima locatie.

De Dijkwachter is een zeer comfortabel huis van alle gemakken voorzien, altijd schoon, prima onderhouden en rook- en diervrij. Wij komen er vanaf ongeveer 2007 en genieten er ieder jaar opnieuw. De ligging is ook perfect, lekker ruim terras en nog een zit aan het water, kortom: voor ons de ideale plek voor het Ameland gevoel. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijke en hartelijke mensen wat resulteert in een warme klik vanaf het begin. Vandaar dat we graag weer komen, eerst nog in het najaar en dan volgen jaar juni.
